ELKO AS is a leading Norwegian manufacturer of installation equipment and wiring devices, as well as data/telecommunication products. For more than 60 years, ELKO is producing 16 A flush- and wall mounted switches, socket outlets, wall – and ceiling boxes, plugs, dimmers, and other electronic equipment. ELKO is considered as a leading, innovative manufacturer, offering high quality and long lasting products in modern design.

ELKOs products are normally found in most Scandinavian homes and buildings, as well
as in other homes in certain European countries. ELKO also markets a simple but very effective control system, called ELKO Matic, a home link system called ELKO Link Home, as well as ELKO Link Office for more public environments and a wide range of Cat5e and Cat 6 patchpanels and wall outlets. Today, ELKO employs around 223 people, of which 20 are employed in Sweden and 10 in Finland. Headoffice lies in Sandvika, 8 km west of Oslo city.

Total turnover amounts to NOK 600 mill or 75 M€, of which 30% is exported.
At the factory site at ÅMOT, (70 km west of Oslo) ELKO disposes of a highly automatized and very rational production unit.
